Pete played bass guitar for Salad. He was a schoolmate of Paul's and this is how he came to join the band, in 1992. He is not credited with writing any of the songs himself, however he may have had input into the songs which are credited to Salad as a whole. As well as the bass, Pete also played saxophone on 'Wolves over Washington'.

Pete was quite dominant on stage standing at well over 6'0" tall, especially in the later gigs when standing next to diminutive Charley (5'0"). Pete played a Fender Precision Bass in a sunburst paint finish.

Since Salad, Pete has changed direction and is now a web-designer. He created the HUB-MUSIC website (see links). HUB features Rob Wakeman as a solo artist and as part of Lapwing
