Pete at the Mean Fiddler (1997)
Pete Brown
Pete played bass with Salad. He was a schoolmate of Paul's and this is how he came to join the band, replacing the bassist of The Merry Babes. He is not credited with writing any of the songs himself, however he may have had input into the songs which are credited to Salad as a whole. As well as the bass, Pete also played saxophone on 'Wolves over Washington'. Pete was a dominant figure on stage standing at well over 6'0" tall, especially in the later gigs when positioned next to the diminutive Charley Stone (5'0").
Equipment
Pete played an old Fender Jazz Bass in brown sunburst finish.
