Rob Wakeman
Rob was Salad's drummer. As well as playing the drums, he arranged the samples used in Salad's songs and played keyboards in the studio. Listening to Wakeman's songs, it is clear to see that his influences are more contemporary than those of Paul Kennedy. Dance cues and samples often play a part in these songs, and combined with sharp guitar from Kennedy and rhythmic bass from Brown, create songs which are unmistakably Wakeman's. These influences are confirmed by the thumping techno anthem produced by Rob for the Christmas single.
After Salad, Rob released a number of club tunes including Beater Cheater. He now works with Pete on BoreMe.com - an online viral collection.
