Who are Salad?
The Salad Line up was:

When did Salad form?
The previous incarnation of Salad formed in 1991 and was named The Merry Babes.
The final Salad lineup started playing live in 1993.

When did Salad split? Salad played their final gig and released their last single in 1997.

Where do recognise Marijne from?
Marijne used to work for MTV Europe as a VJ. She presented programmes such as 120 Minutes and The Pulse until she quit in the mid 1990s to dedicate more time to the band. She has also co-presented the BBC's coverage of the Glastonbury festival, along with Jo Whiley and the late, great John Peel.

What were Salad's best known songs? They included Diminshed Clothes which was played regularly on the old Radio 1 Mark Radcliffe Show, Drink the Elixir, Motorbike to Heaven and Cardboy King. Their videos were occasionally played on ITV's Chart Show and MTV Europe.

Which bands have influenced Salad?
Paul and Marijne have mentioned the Beatles and Pixies as an influence.

What are they doing now?
